Acupuncture

“The law of yin and yang is the natural order of the universe, mother of all changes, the root of life and death.” – The Yellow Emperor

Acupuncture is the treatment of energy meridians along the body. Meridians carry life source energy that can be accessed at the points along them. Acupuncture balances energy and addresses it in its most primal form, yin and yang. Each point has a name, a soul, a spirit and a way to help you. There are 12 main meridians that run along the limbs, trunk and head of the body but there are 8 deeper Extraordinary Vessels which can only be accessed at special points along the 12 main meridians.

These meridians and points hold vast amounts of knowledge that reflect our wellbeing and can function as a voice between ourselves and our body. Conditions can appear along the meridians and give insight to internal issues, or internal issues can be treated by using these external pathways of energy. The points can be used as metaphor to unlock mental and emotional blocks and they can treat chronic and acute conditions alike. They can provide insight into what issues are faced and how to resolve them.
